We are stocking up the fudge and caramel sauces, practicing the choreography of fast and friendly food service, and grinding extra coffee beans, preparing ourselves for the festival.
Although we have only been open in the evenings, The Holy Moly Drug Store hours will be extended during the festival weekend. We plan on being open during the day and a bit later in the evening.
We understand that Yazoo Pass will also be open extra hours (on Sunday) during the festival, and we thank them for that! We will be ready for that good salad bar by Sunday!
There will probably be quite a few people looking for coffee, ice cream, and snacks during the festival. We love the idea of all the activity in the city. We're happy to have our neighbours at the Pinkbar ready with the burgers and fries when we need them, right around the corner, too!
Are we nervous? Yes. Are we excited? Yes. Are we ready? ......Yes! And, we are very, very, thankful for the opportunity to participate in the Sunflower River Blues & Gospel Festival this year. We are also thankful for the people who have helped and encouraged us along the way.
