HOUSE CONCERT -- MEET & GREET GEMMA EGAN
2pm - 4pm
The Holy Moly, 218 Third Street, Clarksdale, Mississippi
House Concert/meet and greet Gemma Egan ("Guitar Gem"), this year's young Australian Artist in residence at The Holy Moly. Gemma is also a night time performer for JJF 2024.
Adrian and Carla have invited thirteen year old Gemma Egan, supported and encouraged by her Dad, Trent Egan, from Australia, to come and play at The Holy Moly Theatre, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, as part of the Juke Joint Festival, 2024.
It's a long way to travel from Australia, but this talented teenager with her musical aspirations, has many fans and supporters that have helped her progress as a performing musician. Carla and Adrian are delighted to be able to share their support for Gemma's efforts. Gemma and her Dad will be in downtown Clarksdale, Mississippi, during the lead up to this year's festival as our Artists in residence, and to soak up some true Southern Hospitality. We know you won't disappoint them."
Her Dad says....
"Gem has been previously known as LilG the red headed blues princess from Australia.
She has an online presence of 1000's of followers and played some of Australia’s biggest festivals wowing the crowds with her exceptional guitar skills and stage presence.
It is often said she has lived this life before with her deep respect and feel for the delta blues.
She’s traveled all the way from Australia to America with her own unique show, don’t miss this rare opportunity to see her do her thing and meet her afterwards."
